Travis Martin Travis is in his 9th year with AACS. Travis cheered on Pro Cheer All Stars which won UCA & NCA National Champion titles. Travis coaches both Competitive and Non Competitive programs. Travis demonstrates patience, strong technical knowledge and is very dedicated to the sport of cheerleading and to AACS Cheer. Travis is a proud father of Lilly. He will be taking a short break this summer to concentrate on his landscaping business but will be back in the Fall.
Travis is USASF certified in coaching basket tosses, stunts, and tumbling levels 1-5.

Kayla Cowell Kayla has been a Cheerleader for AACS since the doors opened. She is the daughter to the Coach/Owner of AACS. Kayla is an All Around Cheerleader. She can base, back and fly in advanced level stunts. She also excels in her advance tumbling skills and has mastered her double full on the floor. She has been on several of the AACS National Championship Competitive Cheer & Dance teams. Kayla assists her mom in many ways in the gym from working in the office,teaching classes, and helping coach AACS mini’s & youth and Jr teams the past 5 years. Kayla has received Best AA cheerleader, Best Leadership, and other awards while at AACS. She is a cheerleader at Blue Valley North High School and earned the Rookie of the year award in 2006 and Best AA Cheerleader award in 2007. Kayla was also nominated for NCA "All American"
In the summer of 2006 & 2007. Kayla was chosen as a one of the top 3 video finalist for the Endurance 5 TV reality series on discovery kids netwwork. Kayla loves cheerleading and also models in her spare time.
Kayla is USASFcertified coaching in basket tosses, stunts, and tumbling levels 1-5.

Karisa Cowell- Also known as "Peanut" Karisa is also the daughter to the Coach / Owner of AACS. A lot of the younger AACS cheerleaders look up to her and she gets many request when it come to a teachers aid or private instruction. Peanut - is a flyer but also likes to base and teach the younger cheerleaders what she loves to do. Some of the older girls have even asked her to help them make up dances for their High School squads. She is very creative and is also gifted in the area of dance. Karisa is known as a very advanced cheerleader for her age. She has received many 1st place honors in Individual and Group Partner stunt Categories at Competitions as well as voted as one of the gyms Best AA Cheerleader yr after yr. She is a very advanced flyer, and has numerous first place honors in both Best Stunt group and Best AA Cheerleader for her age. She has been on AACS National Championship Competitive cheer & dance teams the past 7 years. She sets the standards and goals for many others in the gym. She is also an excellent tumbler achieving her double full and standing full and two BHS’s to a double full on the floor. Karisa helps with Recreational classes & AACS mini,youth, and Jr teams. When she is not cheerleading she may be modeling, playing other sports, or hanging with friends.
Karisa is USASFcertified in coaching basket tosses, stunts, and tumbling levels 1-5.

Rikki Golden
This is Rikki’s second year coaching with AACS cheer. She comes to AACS with 6 years of competitive All Star experience and currently is a cheerleader at AACS as well as BVN High School. Rikki mostly works with recreational classes as well as the AACS Youth team. Rikki is an All Around Cheerleader who excels in all areas of cheerleading.

Jeff Johnson This is Jeff’s second year coaching with AACS. Jeff cheered for the KU Cheer Squad. He is very proud of his standing full and advance stunting skills that he offers the KU cheer squad. Jeff enjoys All Star and college cheer and is an all around great cheerleader. He is also very proud of his 5 All Star National Championships. In the summer Jeff works for Power consulting group where he helps in stunts and other Choreography needs around the country. We are proud to have Jeff on the AACS staff. Jeff works with both Competitive and Non Competitive cheer programs but mainly hels coach AACS SR 5 Worlds team. Jeff recently has decided to change schools for the Fall. Jeff will be helping AACS most of the summer and he plans to make frequent visits to KC to keep up on the SR 5 team. I am sure you will see Jeff supporting AACS at events in the 2008-09 season!

Maxx Krueger
This is Maxx’s third year coaching with AACS. Maxx graduated from KU and was on the Varsity Cheer squad. He is known for his outstanding stunting ability. Maxx’s patience and leadership is an asset to the AACS coaching staff. AACS cheerleaders have fun stunting with the "muscle man". Maxx teaches tumbling and jumps classes as well as works with the AACS competitive teams. He works full time during the day and helps out when needed at AACS.
Maxx is USASF certified in basket tosses,stunts and tumbling levels 1-5.

Kelly McDonough
This is Kellys second year with AACS. She cheered for KU and also the KC Brigades. She also grew up in the All Star cheer world and loves the sport. Kelly coaches mostly for our Jr 4 team but also runs the AACS office and helps with other AACS classes.
Kelly is USASF certified in all areas levels 1-5.

Katja Bullock Strength & Conditioning and Tumbling coach Katja has worked with AACS the past 6 years. She gives the AACS cheerleaders many drills to improve their standing and running tumbling as well as displays the importance of strength building and conditioning for the AACS cheerleaders. Katja is also a head coach for Diamond gymnastics where we use to share a gym with. Katja has over 20 years coaching in the area of gymnastics & tumbling.

Stan Strecker This is Stan’s 2nd year at AACS. Stan was a competitive All Star cheerleader in HS and now is a KU cheerleader. Stan works part time with AACS cheer teams and competed at Worlds on AACS Sr Limited Coed team in 2008. Stan will take a break in the the summer as he will be working for NCA and will return in the Fall.
Stan is Certified in all areas Levels 1-5.

Darcie L Darcie just moved to the KC area and plans to work in a preschool or become a teacher and also coach at AACS. She currently works with AACS cheer Minis and level 2 teams. She was a competitve cheerleader and has coached a very successfl youth 2 team out East. We are excited to add Darcie to the Staff at AACS cheer.
Tyree This is Tyree's first summer with AACS. He works only in the summer or when he is home from breaks. Tyree is a member of the HPU cheer team. He excels in the area of stunts and also helps with tumbling classes at AACS. We will miss him when he returns to beautiful Hawaii for school and cheer this fall.
Lindsey Benefield Lindsey is on AACS Sr 5 Heat team and has attended Worlds both years. She also helps in many ways at AACS. She assists with Rec classes, AACS mini's, she helps teach our stunt class and also helps with tumbling classes too. Lindsey is a very good base and all around cheerleader. She is also a member of her HS cheer team. (BVHS)

Ben Hoffman Ben was a member of a Pro Cheer National Champion squad and has been on the AACS staff for 8 years. Ben played a part in the big hit cheer movie "Bring It On II". Ben helps coach AACS Competitive and non competitive cheer programs. He also focuses on privates in the area of coed stunting and tumbling. Ben works part time and fills in when we need additional staff.

Brad Calhoon This is Brads second year with AACS. Brad excels in many areas but his specialty is tumbling and stunts. AACS is proud to have Brad’s expertise and cheer ability in the gym.
Brad cheered here locally for Shawnee Mission HS and was also a KU Cheerleader. After KU is went to cheer for the University of Louisville. Brad was a member of a 5 time NCA National Champion team.
Brad was also the director of River City All Stars in Little Rock ,AR and the Head Coach for the Univ. of Central Arkansas. He was on NCA Staff from 1993- 2003.
Brad works mostly with AACS Competitive cheer teams!

Brandon Bliss This is Brandons second year with AACS. Brandon cheered for both Extreme Athletics & Cheer Eclipse. After All Stars he went on to cheer at Wichita State for 2 years. Brandon is known as a Super Star Tumbler. He can whip out doubles, standing fulls and much more. The cheerleaders love to watch him show off in the gym or watch him on the Daytona beaches tumbling. He recently tried out for Spirit of Texas International team as he plans to move back to Texas in the Fall.
We are proud to have him at AACS cheer.
Brandon works with both rec classes & competitive cheer teams at AACS and focuses on tumbling.
Brandon is USASF certified levels 1-5 in Tumbling.
